While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location. Role and responsibilities

You will liaise and work closely with Service Owners, Project Management and Risk teams to drive and support new initiatives through effective supplier due diligence, RFIs/RFPs, contract negotiations and driving business change management activities to maximise the value/benefits of the engagement. With a focus on Supplier Management, you will engage with governance, supplier operations and various service teams to manage our key suppliers from a full lifecycle perspective, effectively managing risks and supporting strategic decision making. In addition, you will work closely with sourcing, service owners, legal and global risk and compliance teams to build effective contracts that meet both business and global regulatory requirements, including recasting aged engagements to ensure suppliers continue to provide value.

What you offer
  • The ability to engage with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • An understanding of infrastructure services, including Server OS, Database, Networks, Storage and Data Protection
  • Experience in delivery or project management, particularly in relation to delivering technology projects, and experience in participating in operational partner/supplier governance forums
  • Complex problem-solving skills and a broad understanding of technology and infrastructure
  • The ability to initiate productive dialogue, provide feedback and demonstrate empathy and good listening skills
  • Knowledge of current trends or movements in vendor risk management such as cyber risk
