Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for enterprise systems, APIs, and software applications.
  • Create and maintain user manuals, system guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Document system architectures, integration flows, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with Agile and traditional development methodologies.
  • Implement version control and documentation lifecycle management practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides.
  • Implement documentation best practices and industry standards.
  • Create and maintain information architecture for technical content.
  • Ensure consistency across all technical documentation; optimize content for searchability and user experience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of technical writing experience in software/IT.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and API documentation; portfolio of technical documentation samples preferred.
  • Knowledge of static site generators (Jekyll, Hugo).
  • Familiarity with programming concepts and languages (JavaScript, Python), database systems, cloud platforms, API documentation, and system architecture.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence and SharePoint, markdown, diagramming tools such as Visio, Drawio, and version control systems such as Git.
