Qualifications Must have an active coding certification (CCS, CPC, CIC, or equivalent AHIMA/AAPC) Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient coding Proficient in ICD-10-CM, PCS, and DRG assignment Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills Responsibilities Review inpatient records to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with official guidelines and payer requirements Collaborate with physicians and CDI teams for clarification when needed Meet productivity and quality benchmarks consistently What’s in it for you?
