Outlight is a modern lighting ecommerce brand, and we scale through creative. Your mission is simple: ship Meta-ready videos that beat our current bests—consistently, at volume, with taste.
OverviewGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. You will turn ideas, UGC, and product shots into thumb-stopping short videos for Meta ads, and use AI tools to generate scenes, extend shots, replace elements, stabilize, and upscale while keeping products on-model.
What you’ll do- Turn ideas, UGC, and product shots into thumb-stopping short videos for Meta ads.
- Build disciplined testing sets: clean naming/versioning.
- Use AI tools (Sora, Kling, Veo 3, Firefly, image-to-video, video-to-video) to generate scenes, extend shots, replace elements, stabilize, upscale, relight—while keeping products 100% on-model.
- Edit for performance: sharp first 1–2s hook, clear value prop, legible captions, decisive CTAs, tight 12–25s cuts; iterate based on metrics (thumb-stop rate, 3-sec view, hold rate @5s/10s, CTR, ROAS/CPA).
- Craft tasteful motion graphics: kinetic type, minimal transitions, logo stings, product callouts aligned to our aesthetic (architectural, warm-minimal, premium).
- Pull from our Creative Library (hooks/angles/audiences) and add back learnings; partner with founder on hypotheses → briefs → rapid rounds.
- Prep exports per placement (safe areas, loudness normalized, burnt-in captions when needed), manage organized project files.
- 4+ years editing short-form video, with 2+ years producing performance ads for DTC/ecommerce.
- Expert in Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut; confident in After Effects (titles, tracking, light compositing).
- Hands-on with AI gen/edit tools for production (text-to-video, image-to-video, video-to-video, background/element replacement).
- Portfolio of Meta ads that actually moved numbers—share context (goal, audience, results, your role).
- Process discipline: batching, version control, naming conventions, clean project organization.
- English fluency and clear communication.
- Motion graphics chops (kinetic typography, tasteful transitions), 2.5D parallax, masking/roto confidence.
- Color sense for premium interiors/products; audio finesse (SFX beds that lift the hook without clutter).
- Experience with home/interior or luxury brands.
- Familiarity with CapCut/Descript for speed workflows; LUTs, color management, and grain that feels real—not filtery.
- Weekly creative stand-ups with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
- Rapid feedback loops, high ownership, minimal bureaucracy.
- A living Creative Library (hooks/angles/audiences) you’ll help evolve and tag.
