You will own the design process from the initial spark of an idea to the production of tender-ready documentation, leveraging cutting-edge technology to bring your concepts to life. Key Responsibilities Interpret client briefs, aspirations, and requirements to develop coherent and innovative design concepts suited to the Australian context. Present design proposals through compelling 3D visualizations and presentations. Gather, interpret, and incorporate client feedback seamlessly into the developed designs. Produce detailed and accurate 3D BIM models using Archicad, Revit and other similar tools. Generate high-level, detailed construction documentation and drawings compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards. Manage the documentation process from the Concept Design stage through to the Tender stage. Create photorealistic renderings and engaging presentation materials using Lumion or other similar tools. Effectively communicate design intent and spatial quality to clients and stakeholders. Ideal Candidate A proven portfolio showcasing your experience in residential design within Australia. Essential: Demonstrable experience and a strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian building regulations. Proficiency in Archicad and/or Revit is essential; strong BIM skills are highly valued. Expertise in real-time rendering software such as Lumion or other similar tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas for a client audience. A keen eye for design, detail, and a passion for creating functional and inspiring living spaces.
