Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology and current updated Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Verbal ability is necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiologic and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and hospital staff.

Spatial perception is necessary to visualize the inner structure of the human body in relation to x-ray tube and film in order to obtain radiographs of diagnostic value.

Clerical perception is necessary to perceive pertinent detail in technique charts and instructions relating to specific radiologic procedures to be carried out.

Ability to obtain satisfactory radiographs by following set procedures and standards.

Major External Contacts:

Administrators, patients, family members, medical and hospital staff

Equipment

X-ray machines units, film, fluoroscope, cameras, and protective garments.
