Job Description

Job Summary:

This review position is responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. It involves detailed reviews of financial statements and supports complex accounting processes, serving as a technical resource for preparers. The role emphasizes quality assurance and maintaining accounting standards across all deliverables.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Review financial statements, NAV calculations, and client deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strong knowledge of client-specific requirements
  • Support process improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance to preparers
  • Ensure adherence to established procedures
Tasks:
  • Review fund accounting activities and calculations
  • Validate capital calls and distribution workings
  • Review fund books and records
  • Document review findings and recommendations
  • Provide technical feedback to preparers
  • Review operational procedures
  • Contribute to the development of best practices
  • Support complex transaction analysis
  • Validate compliance with accounting standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on role and business needs

Our current work setup is Hybrid Work from Home , requiring attendance at the office 2 to 3 days a week with the rest WFH. Candidates must have a stable internet connection (DSL/Fiber with at least 25 Mbps).

Qualifications Essential:

Education / Professional Qualifications:

  • Graduate in accounting with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience
  • Certified Public Accountant or similar qualification with fund accounting experience

Background Experience:

  • Experience in preparing working paper files, financial statements with disclosures, and other financial information
  • Reviewing experience is required

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup, IF functions, etc.)
  • Proficiency in email, word processing, and video conferencing tools such as Microsoft Office
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills at an intermediate level
  • Experience with accounting software (Investran preferred)
Desired:
  • Experience in Financial Services or Shared Services environments
  • Experience in a multinational office setting
  • Willingness to travel and pursue secondment opportunities abroad
  • University degree in Accountancy or related fields
