UI/UX FRONTEND DEVELOPER

POSITION DESCRIPTION:UI/UX FRONTEND DEVELOPER
REPORT STRUCTURE:
Reports to the Customs Applications Development Team Lead
Individual contributor
PURPOSE:
As a member of the Custom Applications development team, this role is responsible for but not limited to designing and developing new applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand business processes and deliver solutions that align to organisational needs
• Design, develop, build and test creative and adaptive web UI/UX and pages that work seamlessly with new or existing backend pages
• Work closely with Scrum team members: Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers, Business Analysts, QA Analysts to provide
• Providing technical support to business partners
• Comply to corporate OHS&E policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent
• 5+ years relevant experience working as an UI/UX frontend developer
• Experience in delivering IT technical service and process in line with ITIL methodology
• Experience in delivering solutions in both Waterfall and Agile development frameworks

KEY SKILLS:

• Ability to investigate, identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate and convey information concisely
• Possess critical-thinking skill
• Elegant, creative and adaptive UI/UX designing skill with past portfolio for reference
• Expert in CSS / SCSS, Responsive UI Design
• Knowledge in modern JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries Angular, Vue , React (Vue / Nuxt) highly preferred
• Experience in backend development a bonus
