Role Logistic Analyst Work Arrangement Work from Office Location Philippines - Angeles, Pampanga Schedule Night shift Key Responsibilities Support the inbound logistics function for the BlastOne North American Purchasing team Coordinate delivery schedules from vendors to BlastOne warehouses and #PL warehouses Tender shipments to carriers and manage shipping exceptions Maintain a network of approved carriers for all required shipping lanes Devise strategies to create cost effective and profitable shipping, optimize service levels and maintain supply chain efficiency Monitor industry trends, standards and practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution Compute and report metrics such as on time delivery, order fulfillment rates and freight spend per lane Maintain customer relationships and ensure timely responses to queries Assist in managing purchase order acknowledgements by reviewing vendor communication and updating purchase orders Assist in other Purchasing Department tasks as needed Qualifications & Requirements 1-2 years experience in a supply chain or logistics role Prior experience coordinating truck and rail freight within the United States Skills / Attributes Analytic, problem solving and quantitative skills Familiar with logistics and planning concepts Knowledge of logistics management and MRP programs Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Proactive, highly motivated and flexible Highly organized and detail oriented Experienced working with Western companies Non-negotiable Skills & Requirements 1-2 years experience in a supply chain or logistics role Prior experience coordinating truck and rail freight within the United States Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Supply Chain Industries Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting and Telephone Call Centers #J-18808-Ljbffr
