About the role We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Senior Bookkeeper who will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring transactions, and identifying potential anomalies. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in QuickBooks, record‑keeping, and documentation, with a focus on fraud detection, establishing internal controls, and optimizing financial workflows. Experience with US Taxation is a big plus. Responsibilities—what you'll do Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Regularly review and reconcile accounts to ensure data integrity. Detect and report any anomalies or irregularities promptly. Assist in establishing robust internal controls. Identify potential fraudulent activities and implement preventive measures. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth operations. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments. Ensure all tax obligations are met, supporting tax accountants as needed. Assist in preparing accurate records for tax filing and compliance. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in bookkeeping processes. Manage bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks, and ensure systems are up to date. Support tax preparation workflows and optimize financial processes. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial documentation, and reconciliations. Fully fluent in English. Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time). This position is for serious, career‑oriented candidates. Other qualities we look for Experience with US Taxation is highly preferred. Familiarity with establishing and maintaining internal controls. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
