The Copywriter is responsible for creating engaging, clear, and brand-aligned written content for various digital platforms to support marketing campaigns, promotions, and player engagement strategies. This role plays a key part in crafting compelling copy that resonates with gamers and drives conversions across web, social, and ingame channels.

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Write clear, creative, and engaging copy for websites, social media, email campaigns, game
    promotions, push notifications, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with designers, content strategists, and marketing teams to develop campaign
    concepts and messaging that align with brand tone and voice.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels and formats.
  • Research gaming trends, player preferences, and competitor content to tailor messages effectively.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and alignment with project goals.
  • Support scriptwriting for video content, voiceovers, or livestreams when needed.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas, taglines, and event themes.
  • Work on tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in copywriting, preferably in the BPO, gaming, tech, or digital
    marketing industry.

Language Skills:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of writing styles and formats.
  • Excellent written English skills with a strong command of grammar, tone, and storytelling.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences (casual gamers, VIPs, internal stakeholders, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and social media best practices.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative. Understanding of gaming culture, player motivations, and online communities is a strong advantage.

Computer Skills:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge on:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Google Docs for writing and editing
  • Familiar with Grammarly and Hemingway Editor for grammar and readability checks
  • Basic knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress
  • Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for collaboration
  • Comfortable with Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Notion for team communication
  • Able to use Trello, Asana, or similar tools for project tracking
  • Understanding of social media platforms.
  • Basic SEO knowledge using tools like Yoast SEO or Surfer SEO
  • Experience writing for email campaigns using Mailchimp or HubSpot
  • Familiar with Canva or Figma for copy-design collaboration
