The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily checks of equipment and tools, receiving instructions and work orders, and planning details of working procedures.
- Conduct the daily check of the equipment, tools and record the results in the appropriate forms.
- Check the Job order priority posted in the board.
- Receives instructions, prints and work orders for the job. Plans details of working procedure, tools and material requirements.
- Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, and quality control.
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of materials.
- Read & interpret the shop master drawing.
- Create weld coupon prior start of production.
- Welds the joints using the appropriate weld schedule store in the Weld Schedule Library.
- Clean the outside surface after welding using the stainless-steel brush.
- Verify the product orientation and dimension as per specification.
- Verify inside surface for any presence of discoloration using sight pipe.
- Adjusts alignment per blueprint specifications.
- Verifies part to traveler packet to ensure part and packet match.
- Rolls views to verify proper build.
- Verifies angles per blueprint specifications.
- Inspects all raw material, components fabricated/manufactured parts and assemblies, glands, nuts, bolts etc.
- Uses measuring and test equipment including but not limited to, protractors, height gauge, micrometers, etc.
- Ensures product safety through proper storage and handling techniques.
- Subject all completed welding tasks to appropriate inspections.
- Sign-off Job traveler after completion of the job.
- Submit daily production count to immediate supervisor.
- Update the necessary records as required.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
- Report any abnormality or an issue that arises in your workplace to your lead or supervisor.
- Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment.
- Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
- Conduct 6’S before leaving the work area at the end of the shift.
- In-charge of cleaning & maintaining the gowning area.
- In-charge of segregating the cleanroom suit and inform the HR on the suit for laundry.
- Request and replenish cleanroom supplies at the gowning area.
- Other duties maybe assign from time to time as required.
Candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent, a two-year vocational welding program or equivalent experience, understanding of the use of measuring devices, and qualified to read blue prints.
