Store Staff play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store. This position requires individuals with a friendly and helpful demeanor, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service. Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and making purchase decisions. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Store Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised store environment. Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure proper product rotation. Assist with receiving and processing inventory shipments. Assist with visual merchandising initiatives to enhance the customer experience. Ensure the store is properly maintained and adheres to safety standards. Cash Handling Accurately handle cash and card transactions. Balance cash drawers and follow cash handling procedures. Prevent and deter theft and fraud. Teamwork Work effectively as part of a team to achieve store goals. Assist fellow team members as needed. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior retail experience preferred, but not required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
