Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with extensive knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance across individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships. The successful candidate will manage tax engagements, support junior accountants, and ensure lodgements meet ATO deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian taxation laws and ATO regulations
  • Assist in tax planning, forecasting, and providing advisory support to clients
  • Review work papers and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
  • Handle trust distributions, Division 7A, and FBT as applicable
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and respond to ATO queries
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and industry developments
  • Assist in improving internal processes and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years\' experience in Australian taxation
  • Excellent spoken and written English for client-facing communication
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills
  • Willing to work AU shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Manila time)
  • Primarily a work-from-home role, but must be willing to report onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City once a month
