Our business delivers financial services and a range of products to the Australian market in a competitive, efficient, and compliant manner. We are a multi-product lender, allowing Australian businesses to access Equipment Finance, Trade Finance, Debtor Finance, Line of Credit, Business Loans and Term loans.

Position Purpose

To deliver high quality technical solutions and integrations to defined and documented business requirements. You will be required to help guide and direct technical deliverables and be expected to work closely with the CTO, Head of Engineering and Business Analysts.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work closely with the business’s key technical resources (CTO, Head of Engineering and Business Analysts) to develop and fulfil provided business and technical requirements related to our Loan Management System and Customer Portal, including:
• API integrations with 3rd parties
• Security considerations for integrations
• Data transfer and/or API integrations into internal Loan Management System (LMS)
• Produce technical documentation describing and illustrating solution designs, including:
• Data Flow Diagrams
• User Documentation
• Technical design documentation covering specific requirements such as licensing
• Work with the latest frameworks, try new technologies and cross-skill
• Develop robust, high-quality software that meets the product development team’s standards and procedures, ensuring the solution is scalable, reliable, and maintainable
• Collaborate with a high-performing Agile team, providing honest open feedback to help everyone improve
• Be accountable for technical decisions and justifications within the team
• Ensure all required compliance training is up to date (AML/KYC, Cyber, Internal)
• Adhere to the code of conduct and embody core values

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum of 5 years of technical development and solution delivery experience in a commercial lending business; familiarity with trade finance, debtor finance, equipment finance, secured property lending, unsecured business lending, overdrafts, lines of credit is advantageous
• Experience in an offshore environment is advantageous
• C# / .NET (7, 8) / .NET Core development skills preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and serverless architecture (Docker, Azure Functions) preferred
• Knowledge and experience integrating 3rd party APIs (REST; SOAP) required
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft relational databases required
• Understanding of modern software design practices and DevOps
• Professional experience working in a Dynamics environment and familiarity with the Dynamics 365 platform
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics are highly favorable
• Clear understanding of security best practices with demonstrable experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with people at all levels
• Experience working in a lean-Agile environment; Jira/Confluence desirable
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a changing environment; works well in a collaborative team; able to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to work autonomously and take initiative

• Hybrid work arrangement - Eastwood
