Overview The client is expanding the use of Salesforce beyond its sales organization to include client services and account management. They are seeking a Salesforce Engineer to take their Salesforce environment to the next level — designing, implementing, and optimizing processes that support both internal teams and long-term business growth. This is a hands-on development and implementation role where you’ll collaborate directly with stakeholders to define requirements, build scalable solutions, and ensure smooth deployment through sandbox testing and user acceptance. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with sales and client services teams to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions. Create new custom objects, fields, flows, and process automations within Salesforce. Develop and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components as needed. Manage integrations (e.g., REST APIs, MuleSoft) between Salesforce and other internal systems. Configure and maintain sandbox environments; oversee UAT and production deployments. Document development work, configuration, and process updates for internal reference. Collaborate with Abacus Health’s internal data and development teams on future enhancements. Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years of Salesforce development experience. Salesforce Developer Certification required. Strong command of Apex, Lightning, Flow, and REST API. Experience creating custom objects, automation flows, and Salesforce integrations. Excellent communication skills — ability to gather requirements and explain solutions to non-technical users. Previous experience supporting Salesforce implementations for both sales and account management functions preferred.
