Overview Summary of key responsibilities Minimum 10+ years of broad and in-depth hands-on technical and design/architect level experience in Mainframe z/OS Experience in a multi-site (multiple Data Center) Mainframe shop of minimum 2,000 MIPS and above. Work with Client/Customer, OEM & ISV Vendors, Business Partners related to all aspects of the Mainframe Platform. Support various Mainframe Software (both IBM and OEM/ISV products evaluation, High Availability, Disaster Recovery etc.). Derive realistic Mainframe SLAs and design / propose architecture meeting those SLAs goals Mainframe Licensing, TCO and ROI planning and decision making. Years of Experience Minimum 10+ years of hands-on technical and Architect experience on the Mainframe Platform as a whole (HW, SW, NW, OS and Security) Technical requirements Conversant with both IBM and EMC HW and Replication methodology. Hitachi optional. Mainframe Data Center Physical Planning and Design Experience in IBM z14, z15 & z16 Mainframe HW and Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR Setup Experience in both IBM and EMC Disk and Tape Storage hardware, software and replication. Mainframe Tools–SIEM (Q-Radar), z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automation Mainframe DB2, MQ, CICS, WAS, Control-M Mainframe Security ACF2 Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.
