In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we provide deep technical and industry expertise to a diverse range of public and private sector clients worldwide. Our delivery centers offer locally based skills and technical expertise to foster innovation and adoption of new technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer specializing in Data Integration, you will design and build solutions to transfer data from operational and external environments to the business intelligence ecosystem. You will utilize tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, and DataStage (formerly Ascential), part of IBM's WebSphere Data Integration Suite. Your responsibilities include creating and implementing ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow throughout the lifecycle of business intelligence solutions.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Extensive experience in data integration, migration projects, and hands-on expertise with CDI-PC and IDMC.
• Leadership in supporting migration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions, and leveraging advanced features of IDMC.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 4 years of experience in cloud operations, managing cloud infrastructure, and deploying cloud services.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
• Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools for proactive issue detection.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting capabilities.

Nice to Have Skills

• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure).
• Experience running ETL and Informatica in the cloud.
• Healthcare industry experience.
