POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Paraplanner to support a Financial Planner in both technical financial planning tasks and administrative duties. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, combining analytical skills with strong organisational capabilities. The successful candidate will assist in preparing financial advice documents, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of the planner’s schedule and communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation of Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and financial modelling
- Conduct research and analysis on financial products, investment strategies, and client portfolios
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Liaise with financial product providers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information
- Manage the planner’s calendar appointments, travel arrangements, and itineraries
- Coordinate client meetings and follow-ups, including documentation and action tracking
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations
Skills & Competencies:
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Financial Planning (or working towards)
- Experience in paraplanning or financial services administration
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software (e.g., Xplan, Advisorlogic)
- Exceptional communication skills and client service orientation
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Technical Requirements:
- Equipment is self-provided

- Computer with at least 1.5 GHz processor and at least 8GB RAM
- Main Internet Service Speed: at least 50 Mbps cable connection
