Responsibilities:
  1. Automate (create, maintain, and execute) end-to-end tests for UI and API workflows using testing frameworks such as Playwright and Selenium.
  2. Design and implement test automation architecture using Page Object Model (POM) or similar design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  3. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity, Mercurial/Git, and GitHub.
  4. Develop and execute an automation strategy for a complex ERP system, focusing on UI and integration testing, and supporting API and performance testing as needed.
  5. Participate in code review meetings.
  6. Support other testers and automation engineers in approach, design, scripting, execution, and reporting.
  7. Analyze and communicate test results and coordinate defect resolution.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to improve testing processes.
  9. Demonstrate automation solutions to stakeholders, showcasing value and progress.
  10. Monitor daily test reports and address failures or issues promptly.
  11. Collaborate with teams to manage test data and utilize third-party tools for database interactions.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in test automation for multi-platform, multi-user web applications, preferably in complex ERP systems or similar enterprise software.
  3. Strong programming skills in languages such as C# and Typescript, with the ability to write modular and maintainable code.
  4. Experience designing and executing functional UI, backend, and API tests, both manual and automated.
  5. Working knowledge of SQL.
  6. Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
  7. Experience with open-source frameworks like Cucumber/Gherkin, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver.
  8. Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Mercurial, or other CI/CD tools, and AWS is desirable.
  9. Security testing experience (e.g., SQL injection, XSS) is a plus.
  10. Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr is preferable.
  11. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  12. Knowledge of performance testing is a plus.
  13. Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible team environment, both on-site and offshore.
  14. Self-starter, capable of operating independently and managing multiple tasks with limited supervision.
