Financial Assurance Manager SGV & Co. You will provide objective reviews of financial statements, facilitate timely discussions on accounting & financial reporting matters, and recommend audit procedures to stakeholders. Your Key Responsibilities Demonstrate expertise in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and related financial reporting matters, including SEC, BIR, BSP and IC regulations. Apply current audit techniques to carry out complex audit procedures while leading teams or parts of teams on engagements. Identify risk areas within client businesses and define the appropriate audit approach. Arrange discussions with clients and provide authoritative advice and professionalism throughout engagements. Proactively build relationships with client personnel, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness in handling client issues. Provide leadership, judgment, and administrative direction to the audit team. Create a positive learning culture and coach junior team members, supporting their personal and professional development. To qualify for the role, you must have: A bachelor’s degree in accountancy A license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) At least 6 years of external audit experience At least 4 years in a leadership role supervising associates and senior associates within engagement teams Strong knowledge of accounting & auditing standards (PFRS, PAS, and Taxation) Skills and attributes for success Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong drive to excel professionally and to guide and motivate others Advanced written and verbal communication skills Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, and able to work under pressure Strong leadership, coaching, counseling, and project management skills Fosters an efficient, innovative, and team‑oriented work environment Ideally, you’ll also have Knowledge of business trends, emerging technical and industry developments Ability to build a positive work culture and live up to SGV’s values What we offer We offer a competitive remuneration package with rewards for individual and team performance.
