Overview
Treasury Finance Manila Innovation Developer, Associate role at Deutsche Bank. Treasury and Business Finance (TBF) owns the Treasury and Investment Banking Finance controls and provides insights on Treasury and Business performance. TBF is a control function ensuring integrity, completeness, and accuracy of the Bank’s financial books and records. The group performs the Product Control function, providing transparent and accurate valuation and appropriate regulatory control to avoid reputational damage to the Bank.
While Treasury and Business Finance is primarily a Finance and Control function, the bank focuses on streamlining process work and design to improve controls, reduce errors, and create more efficient processes. The Treasury Finance Manila Innovation Developer will closely work with Finance SMEs to build more robust workflows aimed at reducing risk and increasing productivity.

Your key responsibilities
- Data analysis, automating tasks and building custom solutions for Finance processes through tools such as Python, Tableau, SQL.
- Involvement in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and formulating functional/non-functional specification documentation.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify use cases that improve user efficiency targets.
- Support and/or perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defining testing requirements including test plans, test cases, test data, and review of interface testing between different applications. Work with engineers to resolve functional issues arising from UAT.
- Create and modify functional documentation (e.g., user manuals, solution briefs, functional summaries).
- Perform issue investigation and resolution.
Your skills and experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and a focus on delivery
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into scalable and sustainable solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Degree in Computer Science or Data Science
- Experience in finance or banking is an advantage but not required
- Stakeholder engagement skills to communicate, negotiate and influence others to gain support and achieve a common goal
- At least 3 years of hands-on development experience in Python, with the ability to write well-documented, efficient, and maintainable code, especially for automation and data processing workflows
- Familiarity with data science concepts and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy
