The Accounting Officer will be responsible for all accounting aspects of the company including creation of timely and accurate financial statements; management of accounts receivable and payables, general ledger, taxes, government reports and reconciliation. Prepare documents by scrutinizing and verifying that all required attachments have been supplied before documents is channeled for approval, posting and payment process. Ensure all entries posted into the books are in compliance with the Philippine Financial Reporting Standard. Ensure all the request for payments are properly scanned and submitted to Head Office. Reconcile financial discrepancies and errors as reported by collecting and analyzing account information. Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations. Prepare monthly financial reports (balance sheets and income statements) by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, as directed by the Associate Manager or FMR Managers. Prepare monthly closing schedules including lapsing, bank reconciliation for review by Associate Manager. Reconcile bank accounts and clears any discrepancies in the balances by researching and analyzing the account information. Maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts on a monthly basis to be reviewed by the Associate Manager. Managed a comprehensive range of financial tasks, including reconciliation of accounts, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing cash forecasting reports. Perform other duties assigned to carry out the needed tasks QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hotel industry preferably in luxury segment Strong user knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, hotel accounting and management software or its equivalent Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate to with all levels of employees Service oriented with an eye for details Good presentation and influencing skills Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse culture Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment Self motivated and energetic Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting challenging deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
