We are looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to join our thriving Cyber Team. You will be joining the Security Operations team within Cyber Risk. This role will be Hybrid. Our offices are located at 7/F, One Ayala Tower 2, EDSA, Corner Ayala Ave, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Day-to-day responsibilities: Be a key member of the SOC, providing real-time threat analysis and detection. Conduct in-depth investigations on security events, raise incidents, and support the Incident Management process. Handle incidents remotely and provide security advice to support customers during and immediately after security incidents. Respond to system alerts, analyze logs and traffic patterns. Support multiple customer environments concurrently. Analyze security log data and network traffic for trends. Generate security reports for customers. Share information with other analysts and teams. Tune detection rules and whitelist false positives. Support investigations of major incidents. Perform other duties as assigned. Have a passion for security and problem-solving. Possess knowledge of the security threat landscape. Understand Cyber Security Incident Response processes and procedures. Have good knowledge of Windows and Unix systems fundamentals. Be familiar with security methodologies, processes, and solutions. Understand TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and security applications. Use investigation techniques to determine security incidents. Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage time well. Pay strong attention to detail. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and professional skills. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be able to work on a shift rota. Have 1-3+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role. Hold industry-recognized security and networking certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, CySa+, CREST, GIAC. Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
