Job Details Work Type: Full Time Location: Emerald Department: Infrastructure and Utilities Remuneration: Award Stream B, Level 8: $39.35 p/hr + Superannuation. Indicative salary of circa $110,000 per annum inclusive of allowances and overtime when available, depending on operational requirements. Overview Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a Grader Operator to join the Emerald Maintenance Rural Crew. This role involves plant operation and labouring duties to assist in the maintenance of road and town facilities across the Central Highlands region. Key Responsibilities • Operate grader equipment in road construction and maintenance environments. • Support plant operation and labouring tasks as required across rural job sites. Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience in grader operation in a road construction and/or maintenance environment. Willingness to work on rural job sites, including staying in a camp environment when required. Previous experience in the civil construction industry. Current Queensland Class HR Driver's Licence. Statement of Attainment or Ticket for Grader Operations. Roller Operations statement of attainment or ticket (or ability to obtain). Construction White Card. Having the following licences/tickets are not essential, but would be beneficial: Statement of Attainment or tickets for various construction plant equipment. Heavy Combination or Multi-combination Vehicle Licence. Traffic Controller Ticket. Current First Aid or CPR Certificate.
