Through SpaceCon, our mobile science fair, we bring astronomy and STEM closer to learners and communities nationwide. Our mission is to reach every school and community with engaging and educational STEM experiences.
About the RoleANTARES STEM Incorporated is looking for passionate and tech-savvy STEM Lecturers to deliver engaging, hands-on science learning during SpaceCon – our mobile science experience. You’ll work with a dynamic team to bring space, Earth, and modern STEM topics directly to schools across the country.
The role involves traveling to different locations to facilitate SpaceCon events, ensuring that communities have access to quality STEM education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate face-to-face science and/or math discussions during SpaceCon events.
- Operate interactive STEM-based equipment, tools, and digital programs.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create and implement interdisciplinary learning activities.
- Contribute to educational content planning, including visual aids and multimedia support.
- Attend training sessions to enhance teaching and communication skills.
- Stay updated on STEM trends and topics to ensure content quality and relevance.
- Graduate of any STEM-related course (e.g., Astronomy, General Science, Education, Engineering, Physics, Biology, Chemistry).
- Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) are highly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (multilingual is a plus).
- Creative thinker and problem-solver.
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new technologies and STEM tools.
- Knowledge of Canva or similar design platforms is an advantage.
- Physically and mentally fit to travel and work in mobile learning environments.
- Passionate about STEM education and outreach.
- Be part of a mobile science education initiative in the Philippines.
