Experienced Auditors (Australian opportunity)

We are seeking experienced External Audit professionals in the Philippines for an exciting contract supporting Australian-based clients. This role offers valuable international exposure and the chance to collaborate with a global team.

Duration: 6 months, starting May 2025

Industry Exposure: General & Commercial

Required Audit Software: CaseWare experience is essential

Required International Experience: Australia

Work Setup: Hybrid (2–3 days in-office per week) or fully remote, depending on location

Minimum requirements for Experienced Associate:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 - 4 years of audit experience.
  • Completion of audit training or articles.
  • Not out of audit for longer than 1 year.
  • Experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and coaching junior team members.
  • Experience in auditing and documenting both basic and complex audit sections.

Additional requirements for Fully Qualified CPA:

  • CPA qualification required.
  • 4+ years of external audit experience.

Senior level:

  • 5+ years of external audit experience.
  • At least 2 years of leading teams and managing audits end-to-end.
  • Experience in planning budgets and resources for audits.
  • Proven track record in reviewing and signing off on work papers.

What you will do:

Provide a broad range of fully integrated audit services for our global clients, including:

  • Providing timely, high-quality deliverables and client service.
  • Communicating knowledge of the business, industry, and systems effectively to the engagement team and clients.
  • Responding proactively to client requests.
  • Guiding junior team members with methodology, standards, and systems.
  • Adhering to work plan schedules and completing audit sections with appropriate workpaper comments.

Levels:

EA (Entry Level):
  • Deliver high-quality work and client service on time.
  • Communicate effectively about the business, industry, and systems.
  • Respond proactively to client requests.
  • Guide junior team members.
  • Complete workplan sections with appropriate comments.
Senior:
  • Deliver high-quality, complex audit sections.
  • Coordinate with team members during fieldwork.
  • Guide associates and interns, and monitor productivity.
  • Address client concerns proactively.
Senior In-Charge:
  • Oversee fieldwork and coordinate deliverables.
  • Lead the team through the engagement.
  • Prepare financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Monitor productivity and budgets.

Behavioral and technical requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • High learning agility.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Note:

  • Applicants must have reliable internet access, with minimum bandwidth of 20 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download, and low latency.
  • Audit experience and level determination will be based on individual exposure, technical interview, and evaluation.
