Lifeguard

Primary Function:Maintain orderliness and safety within pool area.Administrative* Maintain continuous surveillance of people in swimming pool.*Ensure appropriate headcount of people involved in a water sport on an hourlybasis.*Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safetyprotocols.* Monitors swimming teams pool lane allocationProviding Safety*Call out warnings to people who may have ventured too far or are in imminentdanger.*Provide safety information to people prior to them indulging in water sport.*Spot potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents.*Perform rescue in the event of drowning or swimming accidents.*Perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations.Maintenance*Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene.*Maintain accurate record of pool use and chemical levels.*Perform maintenance check to be coordinate with Pool Maintenance*Ensure that all pool equipment is stored safely and that any lost items are kept insafe place.Other Task*Complies to Club policy.* Ensure Swimming Pool’s Club Rules are being followed by Members and Guests*Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
