Senior Chemist

Qualifications:
- Licensed Chemist
- With at least 5 years of experience as Chemist preferably in construction material testing.

Job Specifications:
- Assist in performing laboratory analyses of the test sample such as paint, cement, water, asphalt, soil (chemical analyses), aggregate (chemical analysis), zinc coating, and Steel.
- Train in properly handling and store of test samples and disposal of the tested sample.
- Train to ensure that incoming samples are in good condition or comply with the standard specification as needed.
- Prepares chemical reagents as needed in testing.
- Maintains a complete record of all chemical test data and submittals.
- Train to. compute and submit the test result to the Section Head for checking.
- Responsible for orderliness, cleanliness, and securing the chemical area.
- Performs all duties of Officer of the Week whenever designated.
- Identify risks and report risks to the Section Head of the department. May also conduct risk assessment under the supervision of the Section Head.
- Expected to act professionally in the workplace.
