Responsibilities:Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including computers, servers, networking equipment, and peripherals.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, or network connectivity, either remotely or on-site.Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and offering solutions.System Upgrades and Updates: Perform system upgrades, updates, and patches to ensure security, stability, and optimal performance of IT infrastructure.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, configuration changes, maintenance activities, and support tickets.Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and best practices, implementing measures to safeguard data and systems.Qualifications:Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance. Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), networking protocols, and IT security principles.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in performing technical tasks, documenting procedures, and maintaining accurate records.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, or business requirements in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Previous experience in a similar technical support or IT technician role may be required or preferred.
