Required Experience: Education > Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. > Master’s Degree or IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL) is an advantage. Experience > Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. > Strong background in network administration, system security, and IT infrastructure management. > Experience in logistics, trucking, or manufacturing industry preferred. Technical Skills > Proficiency in LAN/WAN, Windows and Linux servers, database management, and cloud platforms. > Knowledge of ERP systems, GPS tracking systems, and cybersecurity tools. > Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills. > Familiar with data backup, system recovery, and cybersecurity frameworks. IT Operations and Infrastructure > Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, networks, and servers. > Ensure network stability, data security, and system availability at all times. > Manage backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans. > Monitor and maintain email systems, CCTV, GPS tracking systems, and internal communication tools. B. Systems Administration and Support > Supervise daily technical support operations, ensuring quick response to IT-related issues. > Evaluate and implement new technologies or software that improve efficiency. > Maintain and update company databases, ERP, and accounting systems in coordination with concerned departments. > Oversee inventory and maintenance of IT equipment and peripherals. C. Cybersecurity and Compliance > Implement and enforce IT policies, data protection protocols, and access controls. > Conduct regular security assessments and ensure antivirus and firewall systems are updated. > Protect confidential company and client information from unauthorized access or cyber threats. > Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., Data Privacy Act of 2012). D. Planning and Budgeting > Develop and manage the IT budget, including purchases, licenses, and maintenance costs. > Prepare and present IT improvement plans and reports to management. > Ensure cost-effective use of technology resources. E. Leadership and Coordination > Lead and mentor IT staff; assign tasks, evaluate performance, and provide training. > Coordinate with all departments to assess and support their technology needs. > Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and consultants for IT solutions.
