The Supply Chain Manager oversee and manage the company's supply chain operations. He/she will have hands-on experience with logistics coordination, vendor management, and demand planning. This role involves ensuring efficient product flow from order placement through to delivery, with a particular focus on logistics and inventory management.Specific Responsibilities
•Warehousing and Logistics Management:o Manage the relationship with 3PL partners for receiving, fulfillment, outbound shipments, and warehousing inventoryo Manage 3PL for on-time delivery and vocalize potential delayso Coordinate and oversee the logistics and fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of productso Manage and maintain relationships with logistics providers and freight forwarders, particularly those operating in Canada and other Asian regionso Monitor and track shipments to ensure that products are delivered on time and in good conditiono Address and resolve any issues related to logistics, including delays, damages, or discrepancies
•Vendor and B2B Partner Management:o Support vendor management activities, including negotiation of rates and terms with suppliers and freight forwarderso Maintain and continue developing relationships with B2B partnerso Execute B2B orders following vendor guidelineso Maintain and enhance relationships with existing vendors to ensure smooth operations and optimal performanceo Evaluate and onboard new vendors as needed to support business growth
•Procurement and Inventory Management:o Oversee inventory planning and management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintainedo Collaborate with the CFO and operations team to forecast inventory needs based on sales projections and demand planningo Manage the transition of inventory from suppliers to fulfillment centers and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained in the system
•Coordination and Communication:o Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related issues and provide regular updates to the operations teamo Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectivesoPrepare and present reports on logistics and warehouse performance, including key metrics and areas for improvement
•Qualifications1.Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Industrial/Management Engineering, or related field.2.Strong background in procurement, warehousing, demand planning and logistics
•Competencieso 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on demand planning, warehousing, logistics and vendor managemento Experience working with international vendors and knowledge in importation and deep understanding of their logistics operationso Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing warehousing, logistics and supply chain contractso Proficiency with relevant supply chain and logistics management toolso Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
