JOB SUMMARY
The Training Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating employee training and development programs. The role ensures that all training initiatives—particularly TESDA-accredited and skills-based programs—are aligned with company operational needs, compliance requirements, and employee competency development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. TESDA and Skills Training Coordination
Coordinate with TESDA representatives, trainers, and assessors
Handle enrollment, scheduling, attendance, and certification of TESDA trainees
Ensure compliance with TESDA requirements and standards
Maintain complete TESDA training documentation and records

2. Trainee Monitoring & Evaluation
Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments
Monitor trainee progress, attendance, and performance
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
Coordinate with supervisors to ensure application of learned skills

3. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain training records, attendance sheets, certificates, and reports
Prepare training accomplishment reports and evaluation summaries
Update training matrix and employee competency records

4. Coordination and Communication
Work closely with department heads, production supervisors, and HR
Communicate training schedules, requirements, and guidelines to employees
Address trainee concerns and training-related issues

5. Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Ensure training programs comply with DOLE, TESDA, and company policies
Recommend innovations and improvements to training systems
Assist in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Psychology, or related field
• Experience in training, HR, or manufacturing environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of TESDA programs and competency-based training preferred
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
