Urgent hiring for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a full-time bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and supporting the broader accounting functions of our growing company.

What you'll be doing
Maintains financial transaction records by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring
legal compliance.

• Develops a chart of accounts that defines bookkeeping policies and procedures.

• Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

• Prepares financial statements, such as ledgers, income statements, and balance sheets.

• Utilizes the appropriate accounting software to manage and automate financial tasks when relevant.

• Assists with creating budgets, financial forecasts, and quarterly reports.

• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes data for tax forms according to local and national mandates.

• Ensures proper filing of pertinent documents.

• Submits required reports on time and ensures they are accurate.

• Maintains confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Adheres to all safety and company rules and regulations.

• Performs other functions that maybe assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

What we're looking for

• Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Tech

• With relevant experience in bookkeeping

• Knowledgeable in GAAP and other related accounting frameworks

• Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Capable of spotting and resolving discrepancies

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet

• Knowledge of and ability to learn essential accounting software
