Job descriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONS1. Heavy Equipment Operators drive and control large equipment and vehicles, this equipment includes bulldozers, forklifts, backhoes, dump trucks, cargo trucks, and/or hydraulic truck cranes, among other tools.2. Able to conduct regular inspections and ensure that the equipment remains in working order and able to adhere to the construction guidelines and safety protocols at all times.3. Ensuring that the worksite is cleared of any debris and construction materials. and should communicate any site accidents and injuries to the Site Supervisor.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Loading and unloading construction materials like rocks and debris2. Operate, drive, and control heavy equipment according to the placement and removal of materials3. Have complete knowledge of machine settings.4. Maintaining the equipment in proper working condition5. Keep performance records of machine functionality regularly.6. Provide preemptive maintenance on equipment to...7. Comply with the company’s safety policies and procedures.8. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations of equipment.9. Perform minor repairs and report issues for larger repairs.10. Communicating any injuries and accidents to the Construction Project Manager and Site SupervisorQUALIFICATIONSProven work experience as an Equipment Operator, Crane Operator, or a similar role in the Construction industryComplete knowledge in operating heavy machineries like back hoe, payloader, bulldozer, and dumb truck.Ability to operate both manual and automatic equipmentExcellent physical dexterityKnowledge of industry safety procedures and guidelinesGood communication and interpersonal skillsA team player and ability to work independently
