We are looking for experienced Line Cooks who are excited to join us on our new endeavor. Our Line Cooks must be experienced, hospitable, warm, and high-spirited, with fine-dining experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment The Line Cook is responsible for creating an experience through dish creation and artistry that our guest will remember
As a Line Cook you will prepares food that meets current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations by following established policies and procedures and ensure that safe and high quality food service is provided at all times. Our Line Cooks will prepare all items needed for service, from chopping vegetables to making sauces and butchering meat, and may be asked to prepare items for another station or special event. Additional culinary training/coursework highly desired. Our Line Cooks must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Isabella’s Line Cooks are at the heart of the culinary operation. You will execute dishes with discipline, consistency, and a high level of craftsmanship. Our kitchen is focused on quality ingredients, modern techniques, and beautiful presentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute dishes exactly to recipe, portioning, and plating standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepped station at all times
• Practice impeccable food handling and sanitation standards
• Participate in daily prep: butchering, sauce production, station prep, garnish prep
• Communicate clearly with the culinary team to ensure smooth service rhythm
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and quality under pressure
• Support new menu testing, seasonal changes, and chef-driven projects
• Prepares hot and cold food (entrees, soups, salads, etc.) following established recipes for all meal services and special events
• Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
• Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
• Restocks food supplies and takes inventory when required
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years Prior experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining preferred)
• Formal culinary training a plus
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
• Strong foundational skills: knife work, timing, station management
• Keen eye for presentation and culinary detail
• Passion for learning modern techniques and improving skills
Physical qualifications:
• Ability to move throughout the kitchen room effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40
lbs.
• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
