JOB SUMMARY : Operate OrganicOptions’ Katipunan Store
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Practices Proper Merchandising, Inventory and Quality Control
Sales Associate is tasked to check product conditions and identify bad merchandise
Record and submit inventory of products using the inventory system and monitor offtake per product
Receives delivery, stores and withdraws stocks from storage area
Packs and repacks products
Displays and refills products
Installs POP materials and maintains accountability for such materials
Recovers and trims products, and create ready-to-cook packs
Evaluates stocks, manages, including disposal/return of Bad Orders (BO) to warehouse
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of products and overall store
Accountability of merchandising materials, crates, knife, gum tags, shrink wrap, plastics, etc.
Evaluates availability of stocks, and reports immediately and with urgency fast moving and slow-moving products
· Masters Product Knowledge and Consumer Understanding
Studies materials provided on products and retains the knowledge to communicate to consumers
Promotes and explains product benefits and usages to consumers
Observes consumers and competitors, and reports to Supervisor any discoveries that can help improve visibility and sales.
Prepares and submits reports on time
Prepares assigned reports such as but not limited to daily inventory with BO, daily sales and cash balance, consumer feedback, sales trends, competitor reports
o Reports out of the ordinary events to supervisor
Timely updating of sales reports, daily, weekly and monthly reports
· Entertains customers and processes sales orders
Entertain store and online customers (e.g. Shopify, Grab, others)
Processes, prepares orders and ensures every transaction is paid and recorded accurately.
Ensures that customers are satisfied with products and service
Encodes and processes orders in NetSuite
Addresses customer complaints and requests
· Meets or Exceeds Sales Targets
Plans and strategizes to acquire new customers
Prepares and suggests in-store and online promotions, and other marketing initiatives to help drive sales
Work on ways to achieve or exceed sales targets, limit bad order (BO) rate, and sell the focus items.
o Recommend improvements and activities/programs to increase sales.
o Analyzes inventory and offtake
Coordinates with Head Office
Prepares Sales Order for store delivery
Coordinates with Supervisor, and other department concerned (e.g. but not limited to Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Production) for timely and accurate delivery of items
Remits all online and cash payments to Accounting Department
Ensures timely reporting of received payments and payment receivables
Reconcile sales in Shopify, NetSuite, including payments
Ensures that receivables are well monitored and collected on time
Performs any other office task that management requires assistance from time-to-time
