General Auditor

1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is a fundamental requirement.

2. A Master's degree in accounting or an MBA can be a significant advantage. Or a Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor.

3. Must have atleast 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, risk management, or compliance is generally required, with specific years varying by role.

4. Must have a significant period of management or supervisory experience.

5. Has the ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide insightful solutions is crucial.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with stakeholders and present audit findings clearly.

7. Familiarity with financial software, data analysis tools, and accounting/audit management software is essential.

8. A strong commitment to honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and professional skepticism is paramount for an auditor.

9. must have a solid understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
