Position: Audit Supervisor
Location: Alabang
Work Setup: Onsite
Schedule: Mon - Fri
Under the general direction of the Internal Audit Manager and AVP - Audit, the Internal Audit Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, reviewing, and coordinating financial, compliance, and business improvement audits. This role involves supervising internal auditors, ensuring quality control, providing training, overseeing fieldwork, and completing special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities- Develop and prepare audit engagement plans and programs.
- Schedule audit coverage and assign tasks to the audit team.
- Supervise multiple audit engagements and staff at different skill levels.
- Conduct meetings with auditees during and after the examination process.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve controls, enhance operations, and reduce costs.
- Ensure timely submission of audit reports to management.
- Provide performance feedback to supervised staff.
- Maintain open communication lines with staff and auditees.
- Monitor and report staff productivity while ensuring adherence to work schedules.
- Deliver high-quality audit services that meet or exceed expectations.
- Identify and address management concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
- Recognize opportunities to expand audit services.
- Coordinate and compile data for annual audits and assist external auditors.
- Offer technical guidance to departments on accounting and auditing matters.
- Stay updated on developments affecting GAAP and internal policies.
- Pursue continuous professional development and relevant certifications.
- Adhere to company policies, workplace safety guidelines, and professional ethics.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in auditing.
- Strong auditing and accounting skills with knowledge of business systems and controls.
- Excellent reporting and writing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, innovative, flexible, and results-oriented.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in dealings.
- Strong analytical, planning, and time management skills.
- Positive work attitude with problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels.
