About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cosmetics Formulator to join our client’s expanding beauty and personal care manufacturing team in Angono, Rizal. This role is perfect for an experienced chemist or formulator skilled in soap, skincare, and hygiene product development from lab-scale research to large-scale production.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulation design, raw material validation, product testing, and regulatory compliance, ensuring every product meets the highest quality and market standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and optimize formulations for soaps, emulsions, and personal care products.

· Conduct raw material testing and validation (COA) to ensure product consistency and safety.

· Oversee laboratory operations and equipment, ensuring precision and compliance with safety standards.

· Collaborate with production and quality assurance (QA) teams for lab-to-production scale-up.

· Prepare BOQ and product costing, and perform supplier validation for raw materials and packaging.

· Lead research and innovation projects for new product development and continuous improvement.

· Stay updated on market trends, new raw materials, and regulatory updates in cosmetics and hygiene.

· Provide technical training and product knowledge sessions for internal teams.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· 3–5 years of hands-on experience in product formulation for soaps, skincare, or personal care products.

· Strong background in market and technical research, lab management, and scale-up production.

· Excellent grasp of raw material chemistry, formulation techniques, and quality control standards.

· Proven problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.

· Works effectively both independently and in cross-functional teams.

Compensation and Benefits

· Competitive salary package (₱45,000–₱60,000)
