Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee construction activities throughout the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Evaluate and recommend contractors based on cost, quality, reliability, and project capability.
• Conduct site assessments, measurements, technical evaluations, and preparation of plans and required permits.
• Facilitate bidding processes, including pre-bid meetings, bid evaluation, and contractor coordination.
• Manage project execution to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and budget compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, building codes, permits, environmental, safety, and insurance requirements.
• Develop and maintain construction standards, specifications, and material guidelines.
• Manage the accreditation and performance of contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate store-related construction concerns with internal stakeholders and lessors.
• Prepare cost analyses and recommendations for project awards.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and billing requests.
• Oversee store renovations, repairs, maintenance, and closure projects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in site evaluation, planning, and construction project management.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and government compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing permits, licenses, and coordination with regulatory authorities.
• Ability to manage construction timelines, budgets, and project execution.
• Knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and project financial monitoring.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
• Ability to ensure quality standards and compliance throughout project implementation.
• Licensed Architect or Engineer is an advantage.
• Experience in store fit-out, renovation, maintenance, and closure projects is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
• Must have experience in F&B, FMCG, or food retail industry. Work Set-up:
