Accounting Associate

Job Summary
The Accounting Operations Associate is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing financial transactions related to cash advances, tariffs, and broker billings. This role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records while providing timely support to internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify the correctness and completeness of cash advance transactions.
Update and maintain accurate tariff records and documentation for reference.
Assist employees with inquiries related to tariffs and cash advances.
Verify and validate broker billings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies or incomplete documentation.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company standards.
Prepare reports and summaries as required by management.
Perform other accounting-related duties as may be assigned by the line head or management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role (preferably with experience in cash advances and liquidation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for internal coordination and query resolution.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer-based accounting systems.
