Captain Waiter Job Description-Aid the Operations Manager in implementing the rules and guidelines and in promoting new standards, if any.-Maintain a positive work environment for the team members and the guests.-Responsible for leading and monitoring each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up as well all the rest of the team members.-Must be proficient in each area of the servicing to assist when necessary.-Maintain all throughout the cleanliness and organization of the dining and buffet areas.-Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities from overseeing the setting of tables to food and drinks preparation to completing guest’s cut-off.-Check the flow of dishes and the food quality and its temperatures throughout the event within the health and safety regulations.-Follow inventory control procedures to reduce product loss and oversee any damages.-Effectively lead the service operations likewise in cases, of the absence of the Operations Manager.-Performs all other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the management.-Managing the flow of dishes-Keeping dining areas clean and organized-Monitors/Supervises food and drinks preparation-Setting tables-Can take orders from guests and can handle complaints-Communicating requests to kitchen staff-Completing guest cut-offs
