Purpose of RoleThe purpose of the ITQA Lead role is to provide expertise in the planning, designing and execution of test scripts as part of system and UAT.Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Manage defects to closure and keep defect repository up to date. Key responsibilities Design test strategy & approach, test plan, test scenarios/scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more project test streams, including but not limited to IT infrastructure, IT Security, System, Integration, Performance and User Acceptance tests. SpecificResponsibilitiesContribute on developing, improving, and maintaining testing standards and practices. Design test strategy for projects under Infrastructure and Security IT portfolios Take the lead in executing test strategyHelp triage and manage defects/issues reported during testing activity Participate in the release control process (when the application/tenant is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Validate product fixes. Inform the project team of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process. Must have worked in an Agile delivery methodology.Key RelationshipsIT Test and IT/Quality Assurance and Testing LeadIT Projects Team Job Qualifications *Co-creative Engaging Fearless Inquisitive Resourceful Sense maker Unconventional thinker Experience and Expertise7+ years of experience as an IT architecture, infrastructure services tester with bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of educationExperience across a mix of technology domains aligned to; Hosting (Cloud and On Prem), Connectivity (LAN, WAN, WIFI) and Workplace (End User Devices, Windows, (Mac OS advantageous) InTune, SCCM, Audio Visual, Collaboration and Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint etc).Understanding of STLC concepts within the overall project life cycle and Defect Management tools. Very good Organization and communication skillsDetail oriented: able to document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts as well as defects tracking documents (i.e., steps to recreate the problem) Test automation experience on any proprietary testing tool is an advantage Qualifications, Essential Skills, and Experience AD, SASE, SDWAN SDLC, STLC, SQA Frameworks Design and execute QA strategy (Test plan/case).Creation of defects and experience on using defect management tools, i.e., Jira, Confluence, DevOps.
