Supervised and coordinated daily activities of the tool and die fabrication team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Interpreted engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the manufacturing and assembly of precision tools, dies, and fixtures.
Operated and maintained various machine tools including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines to fabricate and repair tooling components.
Quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to ensure compliance with tolerances and standards.
Can collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, improving tool performance and reducing downtime.
Trained and mentored junior technicians, promoting best practices in safety, fabrication techniques, and quality control.
Implemented process improvements that increased efficiency and reduced scrap rates, contributing to cost savings.
Maintained detailed records of fabrication processes, material usage, and maintenance activities.
Reads and interprets technical drawings understands engineering specifications, and CAD drawings in fabrication and tool-making activities.
Understand Basic Operation and troubleshoots equipment. Like CNC Wirecut machines, press , grinding, milling and other fabrication tools.
