Financial Clerk

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit statements for review and compliance with Australian tax regulations.Utilize billing and financial management tasks.Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts using Xero.Assist with general bookkeeping duties, including payroll support and expense tracking.Generate financial reports and provide insights to support business decision-making.Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and company policies.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies.Aged Receivables & Collections: Pursue overdue invoices via calls and emails to secure timely payment. Required Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role previously with an Australian based companiesExperience preparing BAS statements in accordance with Australian tax requirementsProficiency in Xero accounting softwareFamiliarity with Datagate or similar Telco/Utility billing platformsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data managementAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Work Setup & Schedule: Location: Gear Inc.
