POSITION: Planning Specialist SECTION/GROUP: BEA Planning
REPORTS TO: Planning Supervisor JOB LEVEL:
JOB HOLDER:
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the production plan based on customer requirements. Prepares revisions, if necessary. Simulates and checks the stock level of materials to ensure a continuous supply is available for production use.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
1. Prepares, monitors, and revises production plans based on customer requirements. Submits to the superior for approval.
2. Monitors and reviews daily production input and output results in accordance with the approved production schedule to determine current production status and materials status. Closely coordinates with the immediate superior for matters to be addressed.
3. Regularly checks stock level of direct and/or indirect materials; simulates stock level against production requirements. Coordinates with customers, purchasing, and production personnel.
4. Coordinates with the customer’s Production Control Staff and other authorized customer representatives regarding changes in production and shipment schedules
5. Prepares and submits the physical inventory report of direct and/or indirect materials to the superior.
6. Coordinates with other work units on matters about changes in production schedule, parts availability, and shipment.
7. Leads and manages subordinates and their activities to measure performance based on standards, behavior, and discipline; determines training needs to respond to production requirements.
8. Prepares and submits related reports and updates monitor charts.
9. Follows, implements, and maintains the Quality Management and procedures of the company. Ensures proper housekeeping within the area of responsibility
For the Planning position, the department is specifically looking for candidates with related experience in planning import/export and knowledge of Bureau of Customs processes.
Education College Graduate
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related job
