The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing as needed.Design and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and project specifications.Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings as part of an agile development team.Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and manual testingHands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for automation testing.Exposure to NodeJS is an advantageStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with API testing and web services (RESTful APIs)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to work independently and be self-sufficient within a team environmentHiring Process:Phone screeningTechnical TestBehavioral interviewClient interviewAbout Adaca:Adaca is at the forefront of bridging software development solutions by connecting Australian mid-tier companies with top-tier talents in the Philippines.
