PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Technical Consulting Services (Design)a. Providing subject matter expertise in the form of non-functional requirements to projects and strategicvirtualization initiativesb. Attending to ongoing compliance requirements - advise on DCCS related to security fixes, identification andtreatment of platform risks, etcc. Able to design and influence Architect team on virtual platform key decisionsd. Good knowledge or exposure on key areas for DCCSe. Work with vendors and provide an aligned roadmap for the covered scope2. Functional/Operational Enhancementa. Process Enhancement: Implement and manage process improvements to enhance efficiency of the team andreduce downtime for the businessb. Problem Management: Handle complex technical issues and provide solutions to maintain smooth operations.c. Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time and operational consistencyd. Contribute to continuous-improvement cycle for all functional/operational matters relating to the DCCS teamcoverage leveraging the right team members at the righ ttimee. Identify Innovation activities that promotes optimization and efficiency of the teamf. ITIL disciplines – KPI compliance and SLA monitoring & improvementg. Technical & process solutions for complex operational scenariosh. Working closely with partner teams (Systems, Network and Security) to deliver best-of-breed customer serviceoutcomes.i. Team leadership: Guide and mentor the technical team, ensuring they adhere to best practices and standards.3. Supporta. Senior escalation point for all DCCS technical matters for the SSC DCCS teamb. Lead all the problem records and own them till resolutionc. Provide Life Cycle Management Strategy for all DCCS coordinating the topic across the DCCS technical teamd. Prepare Baseline Matrix ( Firmware & Device Drivers ) for all virtual Platformse. Initiate Service Improvement programsSECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Provide monthly reports on activity, quality and performance of these System Infrastructures.2. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for the Operations departmentsNon-Exemption/Must Have1. Breathe of experience across the area of Infrastructure with deep technical expertise on one of the areas: (Must Have)a. Virtual Platform b. Cloud Computingc. Database Administrationd. OS Management2. Cross-Infrastructure knowledge/awareness on how network architecture work such as but not limited to protocolsand/or data center cabling (Must Have)3. Experience automating activities and/or maintenance within the DCCS coverage. (Must Have)4. Deep knowledge on Azure or AWS platform (Must Have)SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES1. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc. (Must Have)2. Experience with Docker (Must Have)3. Experience with DevOps environment (Must Have)4. Knowledge in ITIL framework (Must Have)BEHAVIOR ABILITIES:1. 10 years experience in infrastructure, 5+ years of experience in performing analysis and troubleshooting within theInfrastructure scope (Must Have)2. Self motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession3. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.4. Customer service oriented5. Stakeholder management – technical and business customers.6. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory7.
