1. Manages a team of engineers, supervisors, CAD operators, site office staff and workers in executing project designs.
2. Develops work schedules and makes work assignments to design staffs, establishes priorities, reviews and adjusts schedules to meet design project requirements.
3. Maintains accurate reports of contract work and other assigned activities, reviews progress, accomplishment or completion reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of claims against general contractor or the clients.
4. Conducts meeting and discussion with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to oversee the entire engineering and construction design project to ensure timely completion while upholding good quality and safety records.
5. Works with engineers and consultants on project planning, preparation, scheduling and execution of contracts.
6. Reviews and checks engineering drawings, plans, computations, estimates and reports for completeness and accuracy.
7. Prepares design project documents including budget analyses, calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules.
8. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
9. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
10. Manages day-to-day operational aspects and scope.
11. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
12. Ensures design documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
13. Attends to client’s enquiries, prepare and present commercial proposals
14. Other functions as may be assigned related to his position
